Our Vision

Knox Elementary School will become an Ecosystem for Learning in which we B.E.L.I.E.V.E. in the potential of every child and the philosophy that "No Child will be Left Behind."

Goals

  1. Every student will read on grade level
  2. Every Student will be able to think critically and creatively
  3. Every student will meet or exceed the state and national standards
  4. Every student will be empowered with effective life skills which will enable them to reach personal goals and strive excellence
  5. Knox Elementary school will be a school of excellence and will attain 100% adequate Yearly Progress status each year.

Beliefs

  1. Every Student has the potential to learn, achieve, and be successful.

  2. Students learn in different ways.

  3. Every student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, and emotional needs.

  4. Students can learn and apply critical problem solving skills.

  5. Students can learn to appreciate and respect individual differences and other cultures.

  6. Knox Elementary is a physical and emotional safe haven for all students.

  7. Teachers, parents, and the community share the responsibility for the support and attainment of the school's vision, mission, and goals.
