Selma City Schools

Technology Department

Welcome

The Selma City Schools Technology Department's primary goal is to ensure that students, parents, faculty, and staff members have access to current and emerging technologies so that our graduates can become more competitive in the global workplace.

We plan to achieve this goal by actively seeking partnerships and grants to ensure that our infrastructure and equipment are kept current.

In order to protect our students from inappropriate materials, a robust managed content filter is in place.  This filter works by utilizing a black list updated by a federal agency so that Selma City Schools is in compliance with the Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA) at all times.
